Hospitality Internship Seminar at Ramkhamhaeng University Phang Nga

The KPI Plus recently hosted a hospitality internship seminar at Ramkhamhaeng University in Phang Nga Province. The session prepared students for real work in the hospitality and tourism industry. It focused on practical skills, career direction, and internship readiness.

Students did not just listen to theory. Instead, they learned from real hotel and tourism cases. As a result, they saw how classroom knowledge connects to daily operations.

We thank all students and lecturers who joined and shared their time and energy.

Seminar Purpose and Student Preparation

This hospitality internship seminar helped students prepare before entering workplace training. First, speakers explained real job expectations. Then, they showed how students can prepare before their first internship day.

For example, students learned how to report to supervisors and how to handle basic service tasks. Because of this, many felt more confident about their next step.

The KPI Plus team believes early preparation improves internship results and career growth.

Key Topics Covered in the Seminar

The seminar focused on job-ready knowledge. Each topic connected to real hospitality work. Moreover, speakers used simple examples that students could follow easily.

Key topics included:

  • internship preparation steps
  • workplace communication skills
  • teamwork in hotel departments
  • service mindset and professionalism
  • tourism career pathways

Therefore, students could quickly understand how each skill applies at work.

Benefits for Hospitality and Tourism Students

Hospitality jobs require flexibility and people skills. For this reason, early industry exposure gives students an advantage.

Students who prepare early often perform better. In many cases they:

  • adjust faster at internship sites
  • communicate more clearly
  • complete tasks with more confidence
  • understand guest service standards

As a result, both students and employers benefit.

Industry Learning Beyond the Classroom

This hospitality internship seminar also created direct interaction between students and industry professionals. Students asked questions and received practical answers. In addition, they heard real stories from field experience.

That type of learning is hard to get from textbooks alone. Therefore, live seminars remain valuable for career preparation.

Continued Support for Student Career Development

The KPI Plus continues to support student development through seminars and industry programs. We work with universities to help students gain practical knowledge before entering the field.

Finally, we thank Ramkhamhaeng University Phang Nga for the opportunity to host this seminar. We look forward to future collaboration and more student development activities.
